Directions to start :- Leave M62 at Junction 25 and head for Brighouse A644 Wakefield Road. At roundabout follow A641 for Bradford. Go past Ritz Ballroom on left and Tesco and sports centre on right. ¼ Mile up turn into Thornhill Beck Road on right next to the police station. Car park is immediately on right. ALLOW ONE HOUR FROM BOLTON

We circumnavigate Brighouse - "the oasis of West Yorkshire" according to one inhabitant I bumped into on the recce

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations.
