Meet at Bank café in the centre of Dursley

Lantern Way, via Coaley, Uley & the woods SE of Dursley

General Notes

Note the earlier than usual start time of 0830, so that people can get back early if required. The plan is to walk most or all of the Lantern Way, which is around 15 miles. We could cut it short and do 11-12 miles if desired, getting back by 1430, if people have things they need to get back for, or we could walk the whole route. If you are interested, it would be helpful if you could email me, especially if you need to get back by a specific time, but feel free to turn up spontaneously too! The c.p. in Long Street is convenient and free.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
