From the Gog & Magog public House, Southside Street, The Barbican, Plymouth. PL1 2LA. To Ivybridge train station

Taking the Mount Batten ferry crossing to Mount Batten Point. then following paths & some paved streets to the south of Plymstock. Parts of the Erme Plym Trail are followed to Brixton with a visit to The Good Beer Guide listed "Foxhound Inn" then along paths & lanes to Yealmpton & quiet country lanes, byways & footpaths into Ivybridge

General Notes
The cost of the ferry is £2.50 pp. payable by cash or card (paid for if a C&D member). Ferries operate every half hour. The start location is approximately 1 mile walk from Plymouth rlwy stn, along pavements down Armada Way to the Guildhall then down to Southside Street. The Gog & Magaog is the Wetherspoon pub next to the Plymouth Gin Distillery, We anticipate finishing in daylight but depending on time spent at refreshment stops best to have some high visibility available. The walk through Ivybridge to the station has street lights. Dogs welcome on lead. Food is available at Nelli's cafe or The Rose & Crown in Yealmpton or bring picnic lunch
