Walk Details:
Note: the route has changed since first published. Revised route below.
On leaving the town centre we utilise sections of Angles Way heading west toward Redgrave & Lopham Fen, and then Hinderclay Fen. We then head towards Redgrave which shall be the lunch stop. The route then takes us past Wortham and Wortham Ling to Palgrave. From there it’s a short distance back to Diss. The terrain is varied throughout with gentle undulation. Routes are generally good although there is some field edge walking. There is some unavoidable quiet road walking
The terrain is varied throughout with limited undulation. Routes are generally good and pass many small churches. There is some unavoidable quiet road walking. Also towards the end of the route we shall retrace our steps to avoid too much road and some poorly maintained paths.
