Barnstaple to Ilfracombe - a Slow way

Walk Details:
From the town centre along pavement & then minor roads until into open countryside. the walk continues alternating between footpaths & quiet country lanes through West Down & then mostly footpaths through to Ilfracombe. There is a regular bus service for the return journey to Barnstaple

This route followed the Slowway between the two towns. Return travel to Barnstaple was by bus. Lunch stop was at the Crown Inn, in West Down.Other Files
