The route has been extended from previous years.

There are two routes for walkers and runners of 26.2 and 14.3 miles, in the western Peak
District including Solomon’s Temple, Axe Edge, Goyt Valley, Shining Tor, Lamaload
Reservoir, Kettleshulme, Taxal Moor and Fernilee

EVENT INFORMATION 1. Event HQ: Buxton Community School, College Road, Buxton SK17 9EA 2. All parking to be at the School car park, College Road entrance as directed by the Marshals 3. Two Routes: 26.2 and 14.3 miles. Both routes open to walkers and runners. 4. Registration: 6.45am onwards 5. Start Times: walkers 8.00am; runners 9.00am 6. Finish: no later than 6.00pm at Buxton Community School 7. Entry Fee: £16.00 for LDWA members, £21.00 to all others and is inclusive of the SiEntries fee. All entries via SiEntries website. 8. No entries on the day 9. A Full Route Description for both routes will be available prior to the event and Participants must download the route description and all details relating to the route from the High Peak LDWA website. A route map will be available at HQ on the morning of Registration (NOTE: The Organisers reserve the right to vary the route for any reason such as adverse weather conditions, road closure, etc either prior to or during the event for the safety of the Participants) 10. Refreshments at checkpoints and a hot meal at the finish 11. Bring your own mug. Mugs with the Goyt Valley Challenge logo will be available to purchase at registration for £3.00
