The walk will be at a moderate pace 2.5 -3mph and starts by dropping down to the River Otter and follows the river toward Ottery St Mary leaving the river at Tipton St John and then following undulating paths to Ottery. On reaching Ottery there is an opportunity to visit Joshua's Pantry for coffee before continuing to Woodford Barton and rejoining the River Otter and following it back towards Harpford and joining the East Devon Way back to Joneys Cross.
