This is a figure of eight walk encompassing some woodland, heathland and breckland. There is a small amount of quiet road walking.

We start from the picnic site close to Great Hockham and head south towards and then past Illington. We pick up Hereward Way and then Peddars Way through Stonebridge and back towards Hockham Heath. The second part of the walk takes us along part of the Pingo Trail before turning towards Pockthorpe, and then back along Peddards Way.

Paths are generally good throughout including both grassy and stony forest paths.
