Start from Bickleigh Mill, Bickleigh, Devon.SS 938 074. On the A396 between Exeter and Tiverton. Use the overspill c.p under the bridge, not the cafe c.p.
Public transport accessible by bus from Exeter and Tiverton
A circular walk - the reverse of The Mid-Devon Meander as walked in previous years. Mostly on footpaths and bridleways, with some sections on quiet country roads. Hilly throughout, with flat sections along the Exe and along the Grand Western Canal
General Notes
Dogs must be kept on a short lead throughout the walk, as there will be livestock in fields.
Take note of the earlier start time, because of the distance involved and walking on a Saturday to allow access for those travelling by public transport
