Route

The route starts at Moffat, In the car park a few hundred metres SW of the town centre where the river Annan meets the A701, GR NT 084 049. We follow the river Annan North, eventually ending up above the Devil's Beef Tub with stunning views of Annandale. Return route is via Ericstane farm. Bring your own lunch

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
