This new Anytime, introduced during 2015, is a linear route connecting the birthplace of Stephen Langton, a key figure in the signing of the Magna Carta (1215) to Lincoln Cathedral, a stone’s throw from Lincoln Castle, which holds an original copy (one of four) of the priceless document and, for a tidy sum of money, can be viewed after the walk. The trail is easy to walk, easy to navigate and offers a diverse range of attractions along the way, including access to refreshments (Fiskerton and outskirts of Lincoln), if required. Limewood Nature Reserve, Viking Way and River Withern Valley are just three of the highlights

General Notes
Return is by public bus, which, to those without a bus pass, is approximately £3.50
