John Merrill’s latest anytime challenge (although probably superseded by now) explores a stimulating circuit that extends N of Hertford, includes River Beane, Woodhall Park, small hills around Little Munden, historical villages Puckeridge and Standon, then a final hill over to Ware and along the River Lee Navigation. All good stuff, and not a national park in sight!
