In September 2017 the East Lancs Group ran the inaugural Red Rose 50 Challenge Event. The majority of feedback received after the event was encouraging with 63% of entrants saying they would repeat the event and another 17% a maybe.
We have made changes to the route which allows the final checkpoint to be indoor, significant improvements to the route description and the showering facilities at the finish have been upgraded.
The event is scheduled for 15/16th September 2018 but to date there are less than 50 entrants. In order for this event to remain in the LDWA calendar please could you ask any of your members who are thinking of entering to do so ASAP and definitely before 5th August to ensure that this event goes ahead.
