2019

46th Surrey Inns Kanter - Jan 1st 2019

The Surrey Inns Kanter is a walk (or run) between a series of unmanned checkpoints. Each has a grid reference together with a simple clue the answers to which you collect on the way round. This not only lets the organisers know you have followed the route(!) but also adds to the enjoyment. The clues are given in sequence and your time starts after you have had time to plot your route on the map.

Dogs are welcome on this event but entrants must, in accord with LDWA national guidelines, provide details of their dog at registration together with details of their dog liability insurance cover and that they sign an agreement that they will both keep their dog under control at all times (including the dog being on a lead whenever close to livestock or the likelihood of livestock) and that they accept liability for any incident arising from their dog being on the event. In the event of any incident they undertake to report full details to the organiser as soon as possible. This condition reflects LDWA’s national policy covering dogs on walks.

Event Details The event offers 2 routes, 20 & 12 miles. Certificates are awarded to all finishers. List of Grid References normally given out on the day but they can be supplied beforehand - please email the organiser (below).
