5th Surrey Tops

- 23rd/24th September 2017 -

Marshals Walk* - 2nd/3rd Sept 2017

The Surrey Tops is a 50mile Challenge event open to both wakers & runners. With a route based on the old 'Surrey Summits' a particular feature of the event is that it offers a considerable degree of night navigation.

The Surrey Tops forms part of the 'KSS Triple Challenge' combining with the WHITE CLIFFS CHALLENGE from the Kent group & the SUSSEX STRIDE CHALLENGE from the Sussex Group. The three events alternate over a 3-year cycle. In order to qualify for the handsome KSS Triple Challenge badge & certificate entrants must complete all three events* over three successive years. Completions are recorded and you will receive your KSS certificate and badge automatically once you qualify.

*6 consecutive completions qualifies you for a silver certificate, 9 a gold, and 12 a platinum. After that, well who knows...

Event Details The event is a 50 mile cross country walk/run, with 6750ft of ascent/descent, mainly on footpaths and bridleways starting & finishing at Witley.
