Chingford station main entrance (train from London Liverpool St 10:18) Finish Stratford station at approx 17:30

A north to south linear route, featuring the borough top of Waltham Forest, two lost rivers, Walthamstow village and wetlands, and Saxon Leyton, crossing the Queen Elizabeth Park to reconnect with Fish island before paying homage once again to the home of football

General Notes
Largely using suburban parks, roads and of course alleys, some short sections off piste so possibly not suited to shiny fashionable trainers. Lunch at park cafe after 6.5 miles, plus afternoon tea stop. No morning coffee stop, so arrive early and use the facilities
