Well, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Einstein's famous equations, we've got lots for you to think about this week.

Thanks to all of you who have expressed your preference for the 25 June walk destination (our experiment in Democracy In Action). There's still time to let us know your choice by (email to dick@dickbowman.com). Please let Dick have your answer by next Sunday, 6 December, after which a decision will be taken. As a reminder, the three options were:
A - Cavorting with the frolicking bullocks of Hoo and visits to the abandoned forts.

B - Admiring the Crossrail spoilheaps of Wallasea Island, and the pubs/villages of Paglesham/Canewdon

C - Easterly from Epping to Bishops Stortford, a chance to rehearse for the Essex/Herts Three Forests Way walk

The main attraction of the week, of course, is our weekend outing and this Saturday Lonica is going to be taking us on a Kent constitutional in the form of an 18 mile circular from Sevenoaks. If you'd like to join, meet Lonica and the rest of the group at Sevenoaks station at 9.19 am. Note that the train details have changed slightly compared to "Strider", with the London departure station being Cannon Street rather than Charing Cross.
