South Pennine Ring

112 km / 70 miles

A route following the towpaths, wherever possible, of the Rochdale, Ashton, Huddersfield Narrow, Huddersfield Broad and Calder & Bebble Canals with detailed alternative walking routes included for those walker-prohibited sections such as the Standedge Tunnel. Hebden Bridge, Todmorden, Rochdale, Ashton under Lyme, Stalybridge and Huddersfield are visited along the way.

Profile and trackfiles only cover the eastern route between Sowerby Bridge and Ashton-under-Lyme. The western section is due to be published in 2011.
