The Llangollen Round is a new (2011) circular route visiting every summit around the picturesque Vale of Llangollen. It was devised to raise funds for Cancer Research UK, to whom all proceeds are donated. Terrain includes open heather moorland, limestone grassland, deciduous and coniferous woodland, an ancient green road, and Telford’s World Heritage status Aqueduct. The views range from Snowdonia to the mountains of mid-Wales and the distant Shropshire Hills, while never far from sight is the town of Llangollen in the valley below.
