A route devised to take advantage of the youth hostels at Windermere, Patterdale and Grasmere, passing through remote valleys and over high passes.
Route Description and Schematic Maps made available as 'Downloads' by kind permission of Martyn Hanks who designed these routes to encourage walking and use of the 'Youth Hostels' some of which are now sadly closed. However there are other accommodation options where hostels have closed.
