Dark Peak Boundary Walk

Derbys, Gtr Man, S Yorks, W Yorks
A circuit of 81 miles around the fringes of three great moorland masses of Kinder Scout, Bleaklow and Black Hill that comprise the Dark Peak. The route is mainly high level but linking these sections a variety of terrain including, gritstone edges bridleway tracks, field paths, sheltered wooded cloughs and numerous reservoirs. The bleak and wild moors of the Dark Peak are never far away and often dominate the views and passes Glossop, Marsden, Hathersage and Bradwell.
