Bowland-Dales Traverse

An upland route across the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales, contrasting Bowland's heather-clad gritstone hills with the limestone terraces of the Dales. Besides visiting the villages of Slaidburn, Malham, Kettlewell, Aysgarth and Reeth, the route passes Attermire Scar, Malham Cove, Kilnsey Crag and Buckden Pike, the latter being the highest point at 2302ft.
