Accommodation Info

Loch Ness Backpackers is a warm and friendly little Hostel with a relaxed atmosphere, good music and no curfew. It has grown from an 18th-century farm cottage and barn and provides a warm open fire to greet you on cold nights. The house forms the main area of the Hostel with reception, lounges, dining room, kitchen and toilets/showers on the ground floor, and two dormitories and one double room in the upstairs area. A converted barn (the bunkhouse) contains four more dormitories, toilets/showers and a kitchen/dining area. There is also a great BBQ area, garden & car park. Loch Ness Backpackers is within easy walking distance of Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, three pubs, restaurants, a supermarket, a fish & chip shop, post office, bank, gift shops and bus stops. A perfect location for activity or relaxation amongst spectacular scenery. Horse riding, fishing on the Loch and mountain biking can all be arranged locally (great bikes available for hire).
