An 8-mile circular route via the site of Richmond Palace, Thames Path, Vancouver, King Henry’s Mound, Pembroke Lodge, Isabella Plantation, White Lodge, Two Storm Wood, returning via Richmond Hill to arrive back at the station (Railway Tavern) to catch fast train to Waterloo at 2115
If the weather is reasonable, St Paul’s and Windsor Castle may be seen from King Henry’s Mound. The azaleas were in full flower last Thursday and there were many deer. The walk aims to pass through parts of the Park which you may not have seen before. Expect the classic “Turner” view from Richmond Hill.
