| Route: | Start - The Market Hotel, Elsecar, Nr.Barnsley, South Yorkshire (next to the Elsecar Heritage Centre) Our route takes in the magnificent Wentworth Woodhouse and its follies, Wentworth village, Wharncliffe Crags, Wortley Hall and Tankersley Old Hall (where scenes from the film “Kes” were shot). So why not come along and experience some of the goodies that South Yorkshire has to offer - wonderfully varied countryside with some terrific views and warm Yorkshire hospitality with good food on checkpoints are all included and your decision on which route to follow can be made on the day! |
| Cost: | Entry: in advance £7.50 (non-LDWA £8.50); OTD all £10 including new badge & certificate for all finishers, refreshments at several Cps and pie & peas at the finish. Free Parking. Due to limited space at our walk venue entries will be limited to only 150 – so be sure to book early to guarantee your entry! |
