The Smuggler Returns

Sun 16th Nov 2014

Walk Details:

Event Details Updated
For those planning to join this Sunday’s walk, details are as per the website but please note: • There are engineering works on the rail line but as these are south of the start point at Robertsbridge station, they shouldn’t affect anyone coming from London • There is a pub lunch available but to be sure of a seat, please could you let the walk leader, Jane Bates (jane.bates@goodmanjones.com) know by email if you’d like the pub lunch. There is also a shop near the walk start for purchase of sandwiches, etc., if you’d prefer • There will be a very brief opportunity (10 mins or so) to have a quick look at Bodiam Castle en route. It’s National Trust so if you’d like to take a quick look and are a NT member, please bring your card • It’s likely to be getting dark towards the end of the walk, so please don’t forget your torch • Despite recent rain, apparently the routes aren’t too muddy, but please come prepared to expect the worst!
