A winter challenge for experienced walkers and runners in teams of 2 over the North York Moors. Participants must be skilled in map reading, compass setting and able to navigate in bad weather

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
