PR6 7HW Free car park at junction of A6 with Factory Lane, opposite Whittlebrook Pharmacy. Parking also available on Factory Lane

There are 2 tunnels, so please bring a torch. A mobile phone torch would be adequate. Circular walk taking the Leeds-Liverpool canal and the River Darwen to Witton Park and returning via Hoghton and Cuerden Valley. Lunch in Witton Park; if we are lucky, there may be an ice cream van
