Thompson Park, Burnley (Foot access from A682 south of river bridge 350m from Burnley Central Stn, vehicle access Ormerod Road (near Burnley College) to car park by miniature railway)
The first in a series of 5 linear routes following the new Pennine BW extension from near Burnley to near Kirkby Stephen (plus access and short cut offs)
General Notes
Suggested to park near finish (free street parking nearby) and take 08.25 bus to start, otherwise hourly return buses from finish (last 18.55). Please check walk on LDWA internet or e-mail walk leader after 1st July to get confirmation of bus/start times. Next legs will be Sat 12th October, and Sat 25th January 2014
