Please note in view of weather, avalanche, dodgy untreated roads etc. we
have decided to do the first stretch of the West Highland Way from Milngavie
to Drymen (about 12 miles) or maybe Drymen to Milngavie. Let's meet at 9.30
a.m. in the car park at Milngavie station (O/S map 64, GR556 721), on the
B8030, just off the A81 Milngavie to Strathblane road north of Glasgow. Then
we have the option of catching the bus from Milngavie station at 09.46,
arriving in Drymen at 10.35 whence we would commence the walk back
