Although Leyburn is a Walkers Welcome Town, finding free parking may be difficult so please allow time, and if possible park away from the market place where parking is intended for local shoppers. The council recommended c.p. for walkers is p+d behind the Golden Lion

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
