Outdoor Activity Survey

Posted on 2011-10-12

A team at Queen’s University Management School in Belfast are conducting a study that looks at the kind of outdoor activities people take part in. They are asking members of associations such as the LDWA to take part in this study to explore what people do and why they participate. This research study is funded by the British Academy, and all participant information is kept confidential. If you leave an email address you will be considered for one of the 30 prizes available including membership of the National Trust, a compass, a wind-up torch or the adoption of a tiger!
Understanding the kind of outdoor activities people take part in and how this relates to lifestyle choices is an important part of promoting such activities and the associated positive impacts.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes and the team hope to get a good representation from people who enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities. If you would like to take part please click on the link and follow the instructions.
