LDWA Welcomes Government Coastal Access Proposals

The LDWA as a governing body for walking in England welcomes the Government's proposals announced at the Labour Party Conference to legislate to improve rights for public access to the English coastline. While there is restricted access on footpaths to many parts of the coastline, much still needs to be done to extend this.
