Rotherham Ring Route

S Yorkshire

80 km / 50 miles
This 50 mile circular walk around the boundary of the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham follows designated rights of way along most of its length. The gently rolling rural landscapes through which the RRR passes provides a contrast from Townscape to Rural Landscape, Reservoir to River and Farmland to Country Parks. The bell motif on the waymarks recalls the practice of Bell Founding that took place in and around Rotherham during the 17th-19th centuries.
