Walking the Riversides of Sussex

E Sussex, W Sussex
A series of 16 walks ranging from 5 to 42 miles long in East and West Sussex each following the riverside where possible and exploring the whole area. Sussex is blessed with many fine rivers, from the wide and imposing Arun and Ouse to more modest but enchanting Lavant and Brede, each with their own distinctive character and surroundings. The best way to gain an insight into these rivers, and the many fascinating natural and man made features immdediately adjoining them, from the historic towns and beautiful country churches to magnificent woodland and downland scenery, is to follow their courses on foot. Rivers include the Adur, Brede, Cuckmere, Dudwell, Ems, Kird, Lavant, Limden, Medway, Mole, Ouse, Rother, Tillingham and Uck.
