The walk from Pevensey Castle heads east and visits Herstmonceux Castle, Crowhurst, Battle, Hasting Castle, Winchelsea, Camber Castle, Rye, before heading back west to Bodiam Castle, Wadhurst, Eridge Park, Bolebroke Castle, Hartfield, Isfield, Lewes Castle, Edburton Hill, Bamber Castle, Knepp Castle, Petworth, Cowdray, Amberley Castle, and Arundel Castle. It passes through some of the most majestic countryside in East and West Sussex connecting Castles and other sites of historical significance.
