Tidewater Way

Lancashire, N Yorkshire, W Yorkshire

145 km / 90 miles
A route connecting the tidal waters of the west coast with those of the east, thus laying the claim to be a coast to coast walk. The Way follows the Rivers Lune and Wenning, crossing the Pennine Way National Trail near Malham, the Dales Way in Wharfedale and using parts of the Ebor Way. Part of the proceeds of sales are donated to Christian Aid.

The new Woodhall Bridge near Wetherby is now again open (for Easter 2015), after a 3-year closure due to storm damage. This enables walkers to use the Ebor Way, Tidewater Way and White Rose Way that involve this crossing.
