Round the Reservoirs

Derbyshire

48 km / 30 miles
A glorious circular tour around nine reservoirs in the Eastern Section of the Dark Peak. It combines the peaceful tranquility and solitude of many of the least frequented reservoirs, with a high level crossing over Howden via Cut Gate, before finishing along the Peak District's answer to the Lake District, namely the Derwent Valley. A route which includes magnificent scenery and exciting architectural features which ensure maximum interest is maintained throughout its length.
