Rosslyn Chapel Way

An easy, shorter but ?off the beaten track? route starts at the famous Rosslyn Chapel, near Roslin south of Edinburgh, and progresses mainly along surfaced former railway tracks or quiet roads past historic sites, like Craigmillar castle, until a short climb up Arthurís Seat for a magnificent view over Edinburgh to Holyrood Palace, the Scottish parliament, Edinburgh castle and over the Firth of Forth to Fife. It then goes to the to the top of Leith Walk passing the cathedral and for the beginning of St Margaretís Way to St Andrews to end at Edinburgh Waverley railway station.
