Pendle's Three Peaks

The area of Pendle north of Burnley is a landscape of heather-clad moorland dominated by Pendle Hill on a ridge running north-east above the Forest of Pendle. To the east of Burnley is the Forest of Trawden with Boulsworth Hill. The described walks to Pendle’s Three Peaks – Pendle Hill (SD796418, 532m), Boulsworth Hill (SD929356, 517m) and Weets Hill (SD857448, 397m) - are respectively 5 miles, 8 miles an 6 miles in length.
