Hillfort Round

This upland walk over rough terrain involving some 6,000ft of ascent visits thirteen Iron Age Hillforts in the Cheviot Hills to the north of the Cheviot. Good navigation skills are required for this LDWA Anytime Challenge. An alternative route from Wooler, adding some 2 miles, is described.
