Arrow Valley Trail

Herefordshire, Powys

56 km / 35 miles
A walk following the River Arrow from its source in the uplands of Powys in the Welsh Border hills, descending through Herefordshire hill country via Newchurch to Kington, and finally, through black and white villages of Pembridge and Eardisland to Leominster.

The route, from an original idea from Greta Pennington, has been designed and researched by Ramblers members. Greta Pennington was chairman of Herefordshire Area and Mortimer Group of the Ramblers, and an active footpath officer and campaigner, who died in 2011.
