The walk is in the West Pennine Moors Country Park, taking in Leverhulme Park and the seven-arched Romanesque style bridge. It passes Pigeon Tower, Rivington Pike and three reservoirs, over rough moorland to the village of White Coppice. There is an alternative 10-mile route.
