Llyn Peninsula Coastal Path (Edge of Wales Walk)

Gwynedd

Although the route is obliged to turn inland on occasions, the sea is rarely out of sight. South to Bardsey much of the ancient Pilgrims' Route is followed encountering many small churches on the way, and from Llanwnda to Penygroes part of the Lon Eifion route (12 miles from Caernarfon to Bryncir) is followed. Between Pwllheli and Portmadoc the village of Llanystumdwy, childhood home of David Lloyd George, is visited. At Portmadoc the Path links to the Meirionnydd Coast Walk.
