Gilfach Wen Barn has been converted to provide competitively priced self-catering accommodation for individuals, extended families or groups on a working farm adjacent to Brechfa Forest. Graded as a 4 star bunkhouse,it sleeps upto 28 in 7 bedrooms and has a large kitchen/dining room, lounge and drying room. There is a downstairs bedroom and shower room for disabled visitors. The facilities are purpose designed to be walker, cyclist and equestrian friendly for those taking advantage of the benefits of being adjacent to Brechfa Forest - the largest man made forest in Europe.

Gilfach Wen Barn is a perfect venue for a holiday or weekend away – if you do not want to drive you need never leave the valley. The barn is fully equipped and the village is within walking distance (1mile). This is a stunningly beautiful area and is far less commercialised than a national park. Within a short drive there are numerous sites of interest and fun things to do for all the family.
