Àite Cruinnichidh, 15 miles north east of Fort William, occupies a unique sheltered spot adjacent to the Monessie Gorge; explore remote glens, mountain passes and lochs. Numerous easy walks within minutes of the hostel and seven magnificent canoeing rivers within 20 miles. The location is also ideal for climbing (rock & ice), mountain biking, skiing or just relaxing. A warm, peaceful, friendly, country hostel in a converted barn, Àite Cruinnichidh sleeps 28 in four rooms of four, one of six, one twin/double and one double/family room en suite. All bedding supplied. A fully equipped kitchen/dining room, sitting room, excellent showers. Additional facilities: sauna suite, garden, seminar room, dark room, use of maps, advice on walking/cycling routes. Groups and individuals welcome. Both of us sign and although we do not have wheelchair access we are glad to accommodate people with all forms of disability whenever we can.
