Yes you can; do a search on www.royalmail.com for "Poste Restante" and you will find the details.

I've used the service a couple of time to send maps on ahead without any problems.

I plan to trek the LEJOG beginning in mid-April. Being from Canada I am not familiar with the practices of the UK postal system. Can I send packages addressed to myself ahead to post offices along the route c/o General Delivery and then pick them up as I arrive in the region? Is there a better way of supplies caching along the route?
