I used sticks for the first time on the six dales and i always put them over first, it didn't feel comfortable if i didn't in fact on some of the stiles i used the poles to help get over, i had more of a problem with gates

On Six Dales Circuit last Saturday I was complimented on my stick discipline, especially at stiles. Hurrah for me. What do you think should be "good practice" for those of us who use walking poles? I try to put my walking pole over the stile before I clamber over. What else would you suggest?
