The West Pennine 100K was always intended as a one off. The event was a success and we have received many letters and cards complimenting us on both the route and checkpoints, with many people asking us to repeat the walk.

2005 was the first time we have used the 'new' route and the route description is yet up to standard. Hopefully, by the time the event takes place in 2006 more accurate distances will be used. Many thanks to all who took part in this years Stride. The Pennine 100K was, we were told, a '1 off' - any update on this?

Just a quick note to thank the organisers for a lovely event. Just a shame that this clashed with the Pennine 100k. great scenery weather and location - just one thing, how far is 'eventually?' the route description like to use this word a lot in the context 'eventually you will come to a stile'. By 45 miles 'eventually' felt a jolly long way indeed!!
