The procedure for using an SEF is that the entrant sends a SAE with the form to receive back a copy of the event rules and any further information. I have had moans from event organisers about entrants not including the SAE, but this is the first time I've heard about problems the other way round.

My recent query re The Woldsman has raised an issue which I think all walk organisers need to bear in mind. If someone enters a walk using an SEF there may be important information which was on the application form and of which they may not be aware. Can I therefore ask all entry secretaries to enclose a copy of the entry form with acknowledgments to all entries made on an SEF.
